Re: Open source at medinfo2004
by Morgan Price on Saturday September 11, @05:19PM
There has definitely been a positive vibe around open source at MedInfo 2004. The work of people like Tim and Peter (and the many others promoting, using and championing open source in health care) has paved the way for newer people in the open source world (like me). There are a number of very interesting projects that were presented as part of the AMIA inaugural meeting and the various workshops and sessions. There are also many that are out there that were not presented - it would be great if people started to post those projects / ideas here to carry the excitement of MedInfo out to the rest of the Open Source community who couldn't attened. - Morgan UBC Department of Family Practice Lead Faculty, Informatics
