Re: Mirth HL7 Engine - Community Site now open
by Tim Churches on Tuesday August 29, 2006 @ 04:57 PM
Great work (our tech person has looked carefully at the source code and it gets the thumbs up), but I was particularly intrigued by Mirth's use of a hitherto unknown form of database, as reported on the Mirth home page:

"All incoming and outgoing HL7 messages are Triple DES encrypted and stored to an interanal database."

I'll take responsibility for that one Tim! One day we hope to release our *secret* interanal database... ;-) Thanks for the find and the seal of approval on the code, we have some of the best engineers I've ever worked with on the Mirth team.

Be sure to register on the site and let us know any areas we can improve Mirth.
